Ser Pounce-A-Lot

And this little kitten is named Ser Pounce-A-Lot.

Yeah yeah, I know. Such a geeky name. Well, I'm a nerd and a Dragon Age nerd. Though for those who don't know, Ser Pounce-A-lot is a cat owned by Anders in the game in the DA: Awakenings. His relationship with the cat is a very amusing one, if not, adorable.

But her (yes it's a girl and she's a Sir) nickname would be Seponselot. It's to save the effort to enunciate her name properly.

Hm. Seponselot is a really energetic kitten, just like every other kitten. She likes to wrestle with the curtains, climb your leg, scratch the door and runs from one corner to the other, just for the heck of it. One thing for sure, though, is that she's not shy. Not at all. She likes the attention and seem to enjoy human contact very much. Must be because human fingers are fascinating things when wiggled. And edible when gnawed on.

However, while she's a very happy kitten, she wasn't so much before we officially make her our pet. Or, so I imagined.

She was found in front of our gate, in a cage with one of her sister and I guessed she was left from the night before given that they both were thoroughly wet in the morning and it was raining a few hours ago. It was a miracle they didn't die of the cold. Because I thought I did while I was asleep.

But that aside, both of the kitten had to be caged for a few days. My other pet cat wasn't so friendly with them and often hissed at the two younger ones. We didn't want them to get hurt and mom doesn't like cats being in the house, so, we couldn't let them in just yet. So, being caged would save them a lot of pain of being scratched and yelled at.

So, you can tell just how miserable an animal is to be caged. And it was clearly so when they didn't even look alive and often try to curl up at the corner whenever somebody went to greet them with their ears pressed on their head. They were scared and confused and well, miserable.

Though soon they opened up (I guessed food does that to everyone. And love) and my cousin took the other kitten. Being a cat lover, I insisted to keep Seponselot and took her out of the cage and let her play and sleep inside the house. Mom wasn't happy but I think she doesn't really mind as well when she realized that the kitten seems so eager to eat my foot. "Serves me right" she said. (before you concluded that my mom hates cat, please stop yourself. She's just doesn't like their fur getting all over the place. She's doesn't love them, but she doesn't dislike them as well. Besides, she was the one that kept 20 cats, once)

But yeeeeaaahhh. Seponselot. I don't even know why I'm writing about her but the little kitten left a big impression.

And scratch marks on my hand.

Fresh Start (Again)

I'm really not much of a nature person. It's just that, my dad love taking pictures of animals and birds and wildlife that it becomes one of the frequent topic of my photos.

Well, that wasn't much of a fresh, first blog post after a dozen of times redoing my blog. Okay, maybe not a dozen times but this may well be the fourth time and I hope there aren't any more after this. Because I've realized that I need to practice with commitment and commitment is what I lack. Often than most, when I am unsatisfied with something (my last blog), I would abandon it altogether until months, or even years later, that i think it's time to start over.

Wow. That could be implied to relationships as well but I'm not that good with relationships. Another tale to tell for next time. Or maybe never.

but i'm not going to write my woes and sorrows. Nah. That was last time. I guess it's time to grow up and, well, start committing. On something. Like this blog.

And it's all equipped with the nicest template too! I better do good, eh?

But yeah, anyway, I'm going to write my thoughts, my adventures, arts, cosplays and the stuff I do for fun. Not many people know what I do anyway. I mean, they know what I do, but they don't EXACTLY know what I do. Get it?

Mmhmm. A fresh start with a picture of cacti and poorly written post. I'll...learn how to write for blogs later as I go on.
